Northside Workshop announces Free Native Plant Workshop and Open Hours

Free Native Plant Workshop Workshop Instructors: Artist Juan William Chavez and Master Gardener Kiersten Torrez. Sign up for a free Native Plant Workshop and take home a grow bag of native plants. This Native Plant workshop is an hour long class celebrating native plants and their special relationship with native pollinators. Workshop participants will plant native plants in a take home grow bag and learn how to support native pollinators. The grow bags are suitable for any outdoor space; your porch, balcony, front yard, or in your garden. Sign up for this free Native Plant Workshop today!!

How to reserve your spot

Email: juanwilliamchavez@gmail.com to reserve your spot! 15 slots are available on a first-come-first-served basis. All ages are welcome. Adults must accompany young people. Experience: no gardening experience is required.

Northside Workshop Open Hours

Visit the Northside Workshop's newly designed Native Bee Sanctuary and chemical free-teaching garden. Visitors will meet artist Juan William Chavez and master gardener Kiersten Torrez and learn how native plants support native pollinators.
